Mark Ratliff opened Ratliff Body and Glass in 1981 on Sandhill Street in Baldwyn, Mississippi. He originally focused on body work but expanded to included windshields in 1986. He further expanded the business in 1995 by leasing space from what was then Windham Ford in Baldwyn.
As his business grew, he recognized the need for more space and built the current 6,000 square foot facility on Windance Drive, just off Highway 45. Mark moved into the building in early February 2001, just a few weeks before a tornado destroyed the building he had been leasing.
Seven years later, Mark finds himself in the middle of construction again as plans to add another 4,000 square feet to the shop move forward. The addition will give Ratliff Body and Glass a total of 10,000 square feet, two frame machines and two paint booths.
Mark's superior service has earned him not only the respect of his customers but the community. For just over 10 years, Ratliff Body and Glass has been chosen as the Best Auto Body and Glass Shop in Baldwyn by readers of The Baldwyn News. Mark gives back to the community as a member of the Guntown Lions Club, the American Legion Post 130 and the Baldwyn Main Street Chamber. He's also a big fan of baseball and basketball--particularly his son Grover's little league teams.
