My insurance company wants me to bring my car to their claims center before scheduling a repair. What should I do?
Some insurance companies may want you to visit their drive-in claims center before having your car repaired. You can do this, or you may leave your car at our shop and ask that the insurance company inspect your car here.
Can I choose where I want to have my car repaired?
Yes! You have the right to go to the repair shop of your choice. Your insurance company cannot require you to go to a particular shop.
How many estimates am I required to have before getting my car repaired?
Only one. You are not required by law to obtain more than one estimate. However, if you want to obtain a second estimate, you have a right to know exactly what each estimate covers. Differences in repairs estimates are common. A lower estimate may not include all necessary work. If you are not sure why one estimate is different, please ask us.
